Last month

I've concluded that being a blog slacker is not the way to roll. Keeping up with it is way easier!! Instead of entering our month post by post I'm going with one long one that should encompass most of the month. Some I'll recap in later posts. All and all we had a wonderful and busy month. Here are some highlights...

It seems like we visited the mall more than the norm this month. It's a great place for a few hours out. A trip to the mall, however, would not be complete without a ride on the carousel. The kids enjoy it so. We also frequent the Disney store on most ventures to the mall. Kooper FINALLY started having success when it came to doing #2 on the potty so after a good week his reward would be having the chance to pick something out from the Disney store. (sometimes you find anything you can to help encourage success)

Another highlight of the month was the field trip I got to go on with Kennedy's class to Horizon Gymnastics.
It was such a blast!!
All the kids had a riot and enjoyed all the stations they set up for them.

We also visited the Aquatic Center this month. Our friend Kailyn celebrated her 4th b-day and so we gathered with them to share her special day. We all had a blast in the water and enjoyed a delicious Pizza Hut buffet lunch afterward. Always a fun morning out.

Their favorite part about helping is getting to lick off the spoons and beaters afterward.

The exciting part of the month is Kooper did reach success on the potty, like I mentioned earlier, and his BIG reward was being able to attend threeschool. We were able to enroll him in second semester which means he goes to school for 2 hrs. every Wednesday morning. His first week of school was the week we were in Cancun so grandma Bob-o was able to enjoy his special day with him. His teacher said he did really good and he came home as excited as ever. My mom said he woke up the next day wishing he was going to school again. It's such a blessing that both kids LOVE school so much. Since I missed his first we took some pics on Wednesday to reenact his special first day of threeschool.

He was able to take the traveling bear home and had lots of fun playing with him. Kenz and Kolt enjoyed time with Beary as well.

And there you have a recap of our month. We also worked on Kennedy's room and made it as darling as can be. I'll be posting pics soon. I've just got a few final touches to add before it's finished. Bryan and I were also able to getaway with some good friends for a week to Cancun. My parents had the kiddos for nine days, bless their sweet and generous hearts. It was a great vacation and marked the first time we ever left the kiddos for such a long span. All seemed to adjust well- so another blessing! I'll be posting pics later of our amazing trip to Mexico.
