Today we had a play date planned with Emma and Logan. Originally the plan was to hang by the Czerkie's pool but when we woke up to doom and gloom we had to come up with an alternate plan. Heading to the zoo was what sounded like a good backup, but as we were on our way to meet Jami, Emma, and Logan it started raining. Rain and the zoo didn't really sound like much fun, especially for us moms. I had to drop Kolter off at my mom's, as it was a special big kids play day, so I printed out directions to get to the GR Children's Museum. The place is great and the kids had a blast. Plus we had never been there before so it was all new for them. They kept Jami and I hopping, that's for sure. It seemed like someone always wanted to be somewhere and we were pulled into all sorts of directions. It's a great place for hands on learning and the cool part is that the mess stays there. The kids seemed to very much enjoy all the various activity stations. After an hour and half or so there we headed to Mc D's for some lunch. After the kids ate we let them play for a bit in the play area. Again they had an absolute blast. It was pretty entertaining for us watching them too. Climbing up, rather than sliding down, the slide was the big to do there. No one got hurt and they were having fun so we let them have it. Overall we had a great day!! It's always fun hanging with Emma and Logan. (and Jami too)
