Grandma and Grandpa Hulst didn't put their skates on but they did manage to dance to an oldies tune that the skate lady played. It was a very cute moment. It got me thinking that the reason we gathered today, other than celebrating the birth of Jesus, is all because of them and what they started...
Today we celebrated Christmas with the Hulst side. They rent a hall at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds and it's such a blast for all. The skate lady comes so we enjoy an hour or so of rollerblading or roller skating. I counted 15 great grand children so you can imagine the size of the crew that gathers. It sure was a fun afternoon with with good fellowship and time spent with family.
She looks like a natural, doesn't she?
Kooper did pretty well too.
Taking a lap around with grandpa Randy.
He thought crawling was a little easier..
Skating with auntie Bree.
Kolter swiped a cookie from Kooper and enjoyed every bite of it.

Looks like a fun Christmas party! Was this Kenz's first time on skates? That is something that I haven't done in many many years. :)
She actually got on them last year. She did much better this year though. We'll have to take the girls sometime. It's a blast even a our age.
