11 Months!

Our little sweetie hit the 11 month mark yesterday!!

We love you so much Kolter Scott... everday with you is such a blessing.

Winter Warm Up

We spent a ton of time outside on Thursday and more so Friday due to the awesome winter warm up and the kids, as well as myself, enjoyed every moment of it.

Playing mommy to Kolter by toting him all over.. sometimes he likes it and sometimes he doesn't.
More mothering.. must have been later in the day as he was a new shirt on. He's cutting more teeth so he's a drool monster and I'm not great with the whole bib thing. Pretty girl sitting and smiling sweetly..

It finally warmed up enough on Wednesday for the kids to be able to play outside for a bit after they woke up from their naps.. and they couldn't wait to get out there..

Kenz found the one spot of ice/snow left in the backyard and took a fall..

Thankfully the fall didn't hurt her and she was still smiling away..
Kooper had fun on the swing set..
All the could do was climb and slide b/c we had to wait for dad to get home to put the swings back on..

They didn't seem to mind.. being outside was all that mattered..

Thanking God for a nice, still yet brisk, day to be outside for a bit. The kids needed it!

Chow Time

Saying a little prayer.. or so it looks like. He's a mess so we know he'd been eating before he stopped to pray a sec. :-)

We sat him in sissy's princess chair for meal time the other day and he thought he was quite something.. it was good entertainment watching how excited he was to not be sitting in his highchair..

They got creative this time using Kolter's walk behind toy for added speed..
As you can see, by his HUGE smile, he's loving it!

I think being pant less helps too. :-) Not sure why but our boys seem to be pant less a lot when looking back at pic.. craziness!

Magic Blanket Ride

Kenz thought it'd be fun to take Kolter on a little magic blanket ride the other night..

She wasn't too thrilled when Kooper wanted to join in..

Up Close..

So there's really no point to this post other than the fact that I realized I love taking up close and personal shots of my kids.. not sure why but closeups are like my favorite to capture.

Practice makes perfect...

Perhaps one day, when he's old enough to hunt, all the practice will pay off.. for now it's just a fun noise maker. I think all of our kids loved playing with this.

Standing Tall

Our little one is on his way to baby steps.. each day, pretty much starting this week, he's been standing on his own longer and longer. He thinks he's quite big stuff too! I love how his hands are in all these pics.. it's so cute when they are first standing and walking as they have to concentrate on their balance so long and hard.

Car's Puzzle

Kooper loves puzzles. Typically he's pretty good at tackling the 24 piece ones, with a little help of course. Well the other day, when we got groceries, I said he could get a new puzzle. We went to the game aisle and I just grabbed one that was a Car's brand. I didn't really look at it, other than the fact that I made sure to grab one that we didn't already have. When we got home I realized it was 100+ puzzle for ages 5-7. We were able to start some of it while Kolter was napping and let me tell you, it was quite challenging. I'm not even sure a 5 or 7 year old could tackle it on their own. Maybe I'm just not that experienced when it comes to puzzles. They are fun though. Thankfully daddy was able to help Kooper finish it and the puzzle was successfully completed. It made for some nice father son time. Next time I'll be sure to grab the 24 piece though as they are a tad more toddler friendly.
