Halfway to 1...

Kolter is six months old today!
I'm still in awe that my little baby is halfway to 1 already. I think it's bittersweet because he's my last baby so this will be the last time a baby hits the six month mark at our house. The past six months have flown by and we are enjoying every moment with Kolter. He is the happiest of babies and brings us so much joy each and every day. He is now siting up very well on his own and has 5 teeth already. He is also loving real food as he's not a huge fan of baby food. Since he has teeth he loves nibbling on crackers and pancakes and the assortment of the gerber grad snacks. He even had part of a grilled cheese sandwich the other day and just loved it You can tell he's baby#3 as we wouldn't have ever given Kennedy table food this early. He goes in for his six month check up in a couple weeks so I'll post stats then. He'll also be getting his six month pics taken soon, so stay tuned...

Oh Apples

We finally made it to Cranes and there were even some apples left. We had a great family filled day in the orchards!

We ended the day with a family ride on the cow train. I think we had as much fun as the kids. We also picked up some yummy donuts for the road.

Just A Swingin!

Kolter's first time in the outdoor baby swing. He seemed to love it!

Ella Jeanne

Yesterday Bryan's sister, Jill, and her hubby Brad welcomed their first child into this world. Ella Jeanne was born at 3:45 in the afternoon weighing in at 9lbs 4oz and 22 inches in length. Praise the Lord for a heathly baby girl. Ella is perfect and just as beautiful as we knew she would be. We thank you Lord for such a precious gift! Brad and Jill are going to be great parents and we ask that You bless them and give them all they need as they head into their new role of parenting Your gift of Ella.

The happy family of three.... Ella Jeanne just hours old. Isn't she a doll?
Happy cousin Kennedy. These two will be the best of friends.
Happy grandparents, Al and Jeanne, with Brad, Jill and Ella.
Happy aunt and uncle. We look forward to watching you grow sweet Ella.

Sugar Cookies with Sprinkles

We needed something entertaining to do tonight while Bryan was out hunting so we decided to make some cookies. Give the kids a chunk of dough and some sprinkles and they are happy as can be. It's also proves to be a tasty little snack before and after!

I think Koop ate more than he rolled into his dough!
Kolter is hoping that sis with give him a little sprinkle to taste..
Kooper thoroughly enjoyed the finished cookie! He even got a little on his face.

Pumpkins & Pumpkin People

We headed downtown this afternoon to hit the post office and also to take a stroll on this nice, yet somewhat brisk, fall day. The kids were in awe of all the creations downtown so we had to check out each and every one. I had my camera in tow so I was able to get a few pics. Most are of Kenz as I didn't dare let Koop out of the stroller much for fear that he'd ruin all the neat displays. :-) Kolter was stroller bound as well. I would've loved one of him in the pumpkins but the grass was just too damp. Maybe we'll have better luck later on this week when we head down for Pumpkinfest!

The Aftermath Of The Biter Biscuit

Rub-A-Dub-Dub..

Three little kiddos enjoying the tub!!
Kolter's big enough now to enjoy tub time with his brother and sister and he is loving it!
Kennedy is all about the bubble beards...
Kooper is all about dumping water on himself..
Kolter, well, he's all about just taking it all in...

Future Farmer?!

Saturday Night

Last night the VanDerMeulen's came over to hang out for a bit after supper. We did happen to venture down to the Dipper for a little dessert. The kids had a great time together, as usual, and we very much enjoyed our time as well. It's always fun spending time with friends.
Best buds~ Bella and Kenz
Walking with their dad's...
Kooper was a mess, but did enjoy his cone nonetheless.
Avery giving me a big "cheese" smile!
After they got into their pj's they decided to get into Kennedy's makeup. Bright blue was the color of choice. And when you're 3, you put it on everywhere. :-)

End Of Summer Steal

After many months of eyeing this lovely monstrosity of a swing set we can officially say it's ours and good to go in the backyard. The best part is that we purchased the display model so not only did we save $300, we also saved hours and hours of assembly time. We talked to a guy up the street, with the identical set, and he said he had 36 hours into assembling his. That doesn't sound like much fun now, does it? We did have to get it off the trailer and Bryan's done some minor tweaking, but other than that it was good to go. We thank our friends, family, and neighbors for helping get it off the trailer and into position on Thursday night. That was a sight, but unfortunately I didn't grab the camera as there was too much going on. The kids are absolutely LOVING it!! I don't think we could have picked a better weekend, weather wise, to break it in. Thanks, Lord, for such a gorgeous September. Yesterday Logan and Brooklyn came over to play so the other boy in a couple of the following pics is our friend Logan.
