Who does Kolter look like...

This is for all those who ask who Kolter looks like. In my opinion he's a pretty good mix of both. I'm not sure I can say for certain that he looks more like one than the other. He has the least amount of hair... that's all I really do know for sure. I'm sure in the months to come we'll be able to tell if he favors Kennedy (more of Bryan's side) or Kooper.(more of my side) For now I thought I'd post some pics of all three around 3 weeks of age.

Kennedy's 3 year check up...

This morning we had a 10:15 appointment for Kennedy for her 3 year check up. I'm still trying to figure out why I scheduled a 10:15 appointment especially seeing as I had to take all three kids with me. I think I thought my mom would be around but she is recouping in Myrtle Beach. To make a long story short all 4 of us made it out of the house on time and all actually went really well. Kennedy weighed in at 34.5 lbs, which puts her in the 75th percentile for weight and was 39 inches tall. Putting her in the 90th percentile for height. All checked out well and there were no shots today.

Because she was such a trooper she was allowed to pick out something when we headed to the store afterward and she set her sights on some princess lipstick. (imagine that for those who know her fetish of lipsticks)

She is very much enjoying her lipstick this afternoon.

A man of many faces....

I just had to share these as when attempting to get just one nice pic of Kooper I ended up with several of him with a not so happy smile. He is our little man of many faces...

Two Week Check Up

This afternoon Kennedy and I took Kolter to the dr. for his two week checkup and all checked out just great. He gained almost a whole pound since we left the hospital and weighed in today at 7lbs. 11oz. (He was 6lbs 12oz. the day we went home) He also grew an inch in length so overall we are very pleased with how well he's doing. It's nuts how fast they grow. The other night he slept from 10:30PM until 6AM so I was super excited about that. It didn't last long though as last night he was up to eat around 4AM, which I'm still not complaining about... It beats getting up every 3 hours or less. I'm thinking he's starting to get it. It won't be long and hopefully he'll be sleeping peacefully through the night.

Kole is 1 week old already..

So far he has been just a blessing... pretty much all he does is eat, sleep, and poop. Kennedy and Kooper both adore him and often argue over who gets to hold him first. Needless to say, baby Kolter is very much loved. Here are a few pics that we managed to snap today as he was awake for about a good hour this morning.

Welcome to the world Kolter Scott

On Tuesday, April 8, at 6:56PM we welcomed Kolter Scott into this world. We praise God for our healthy baby boy and easy delivery. Kolter weighed 7lbs. 3oz. and was 20 inches long. So far all of us are adjusting well and all is going just great now that we are home. The kids are having fun with him as well. Here are a few pics. I'm sure there will be more to come in the days and months ahead. Thanks to all who were praying for us on Tuesday!!
